This ISU, is about relating the theme of a story to different medias such as images, music, new articles and poems. The Veldt by Ray Bradbury, is a story about two children who have been so spoiled by technology, they replaced a technological room with their parents, thus enabling them to kill their own parents. This shows how we over time people are becoming more and more dependent on technology and therefore having the potential to undermine traditional morality. Songs such as Threats of Technology by Exiles and movies like Wall-E all tell us what could happen if we rely to much on technology. There are also other people discussing this issue for example the article from this link: http://cjwriter.com/2008/09/03/do-we-rely-too-heavily-on-technology/ The issues of technology has been an ongoing discussions and in this blog the relationship between the story The Veldt will be linked with other texts.
